RADIOLOGICAL INSTRUMENTATION LABORATORY

Here at RIL, we focus on all things X-ray & high-energy imaging – starting from detection materials and sensor development, into full system integration, and finally ending with image reconstruction and quantification. Our work finds applications in medical imaging, bio sensors, crystallography, threat detection, and high energy physics and particle detection.

In order to achieve our goal, we foster a collaborative atmosphere by combining expertise in physics, chemistry, materials science, engineering, and life sciences. Our interdisciplinary team is comprised of passionate undergraduate, graduate students, and postdocs, with collaborators from both industry and other academic institutions.
